“To separate and to recycle is in your hands”

The Town Hall of Águilas, through the post of Councillor of Cleaning and the Environment, joined yesterday the new regional informative campaign: “To separate and to recycle is in your hands”.

This campaign, that is coodinated through the Commission of Industry and Environment of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, joins others that were carried out previously by the Town Council, in collaboration with ECOEMBES.

Their aim is to raise public awareness about recycling and the use of ecological parks.
This campaign will use the media such as newspapers, radio, television and outdoor advertising and with the help of various medium: informative letters sent to all homes and posters.

Also, they will have “Eco-informants”, agents of the campaign, that dressed with the colours of recycling, will be present in the weekly market on December 10th to inform everyone of good ecological pratice.

They will also give away objects such as aprons, books about recycle, coasters and book marks.

The message of this campaign is orientated directly to the citizen, to inform everyone and to make us socially aware of good environmental practice.
