Isabel Miras shows “Water dreams”

The wide range of styles is one of Miras virtues seen in this show

The exhibition hall Manuel Coronado of the Casa de Cultura Francisco Rabal receives the exhibition of paintings “Los sueños del Agua” (Water Dreams) belonging to the artist Isabel Miras.

It is the first individual show for this painter and she has expressed her feelings as “greatly excited”, therefore she has decided that this painting baptism should be composed of an extensive collection of a number of paintings that are the result of five years of work and of a number of paintings with the subjet matter that gives title to the show.

For Isabel Miras, born in Aguilas but living now in Valencia, the sea is a vital element and has great attraction over her and this passiion is stated in each of her works. “They are all very abstract, they reflect the deepness and the suggestion that water creates in me” she has declared.

Not only that, one of the most meaningful characteristics that stands out in Isabel Miras´ show is the wide range of possibilities and the capacity to adapt to different styles that this artist possess, on the walls we will admire watercolours, oil paintings, photomontage and a great number of prints using different tecniques “that are the result of two years of work”.
